2. What the service does

KDPFix offers limited PDF checks and conservative page-geometry adjustments for supported left-to-right paperback interiors. The current input limits are 10 MB and 200 pages. Technical complexity, browser resources and infrastructure limits may prevent an individual file from being processed even within those limits.

The free analysis checks page dimensions, estimates visible-content margins from rendered pages and inspects certain font resources and PDF structures. It is not a complete print-production inspection. A supported repair uniformly scales and positions affected original pages inside the selected no-bleed page size and minimum margins. It does not rewrite, reflow or regenerate a manuscript.

Covers, hardcover and right-to-left layouts, automatic bleed reconstruction, image-resolution improvement, missing artwork and missing font reconstruction are outside this version. Additional limitations are shown in the report. Amazon and other platforms may identify requirements the tool does not check.

3. Your review and responsibility

Keep your original PDF and editable source files. Check that the print settings match your actual book. Review every output page for readability, layout, image appearance and unintended changes, and use Amazon KDP Print Previewer before publishing.

Passing these checks does not certify print readiness or guarantee acceptance, sales, print quality or any decision by Amazon. A watermarked preview is for review and must not be submitted for publication. The original file on your device is not overwritten by the application.

4. Your files and permitted use

You retain your rights in your manuscript and output. You must own, or have the necessary permission to process, files you provide. You grant only the permission needed to process a requested preview or export and return the result. The application does not send manuscripts to an AI model or use them for model training.

Do not submit unlawful material, another person's confidential information without authority, malicious files or requests intended to disrupt the service. Do not access another person's reports or payment records. Automated requests may be limited to protect the service.

5. Local storage and report access

The current manuscript and report are saved in the same browser when IndexedDB storage is available. Browser settings, private browsing, storage eviction or clearing site data can remove them. Do not rely on KDPFix as your only copy. There is no account-based or cross-device recovery service in this version.

Server reports, when created, require a secret report token and the matching original PDF for regeneration. Protect access to your browser. Report access expires after 30 days from creation, or 30 days from the first verified payment if later. Expired application records are deleted by traffic-triggered cleanup; deletion may be delayed when there is no API activity. See the Privacy Policy for details.

6. Prices, payment and delivery

Paid checkout is currently disabled. A displayed price is informational while checkout is unavailable, and no charge can be made through the application in that state.

If paid downloads are opened later, the checkout must display the amount, currency, applicable taxes and merchant information before you commit to payment. Stripe-hosted checkout processes payment details. Only a supported preview followed by server-verified payment can unlock the application's clean-export endpoint. A successful browser redirect by itself does not confirm payment.

The service does not promise a supported repair for every PDF. Do not purchase without reviewing the complete preview and the report limitations. Delivery requires the same browser's report access and the original matching PDF. Download and keep your output promptly.

7. Problems, refunds and consumer rights

Mandatory consumer rights, including rights relating to faulty or undelivered digital content and any applicable withdrawal rights, are not excluded or reduced by these terms. These terms do not impose a blanket “no refunds” rule or assume that a withdrawal right is automatically waived by downloading.

Before any paid launch, the provider must publish a working support contact and the applicable purchase, refund and withdrawal information. Where a law requires separate express consent or an acknowledgement before immediate digital delivery, that must be collected in the purchase process. No such waiver is claimed by the current preview-review checkbox.

Use the provider contact above for a service or privacy request once it has been completed. Do not send full manuscripts or card details in a support message unless a suitable, specifically requested channel is provided.

8. Availability and liability

The service may be interrupted, limited or unavailable. The provider does not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free analysis or a particular publishing outcome. Keep backups and independently check output before relying on it.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded, or removes mandatory rights or remedies. No particular governing law, court or liability cap is asserted while the provider details remain incomplete.

9. Changes and independence

The date above identifies this version. Material changes will be described on the site before a future purchase. Changes do not retrospectively remove mandatory rights or change the terms of an already completed purchase without a lawful basis.

KDPFix is independent of Amazon and Kindle Direct Publishing and is not endorsed by them. Their trademarks belong to their respective owners. Amazon's print specifications remain the authoritative source for its requirements.
